Exempt Organizations & Non-Profit Audits

Audits of Non-Profit Organizations

If your exempt organization is in need of audit and attest services, whether it is for grant applications, board of director’s requirements or loan compliance, we are here to serve you. We specialize in the non-profit industry and obtain continuing education on the latest FASB pronouncements and other information relevant to exempt organizations.

We provide the following services for financial reporting:

Non-Profit Audits:

An audit involves testing your records and procedures in order to express an opinion on the fair presentation of your financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). It includes confirmation of selected financial information with third parties.

Non-Profit Review:
If your organization does not require a full audit, you may benefit from having a review of your financial statements. A review consists of inquiry and analytical procedures in order to provide limited assurance that the financial statements are in conformity with GAAP.

Non-Profit Compilation:
A compilation is limited to presenting, in the form of financial statements, information that is the representation of management. It does not express any assurance on the financial statements.

We are also qualified to perform A-133 compliance audits for those exempt organizations that have at least $500,000 in federal expenditures during its fiscal year.

Our firm undergoes a mandatory peer review once every three years under the AICPA peer review program, which reviews our system of quality control relative to our audit and attest work. We have successfully completed all of our peer reviews. Our most recent peer review is available upon request.
